This Privacy Policy explains how ExamPilot AI (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

  • Account information — such as name, email address, and profile details when you sign in with email or Google.
  • Usage data — quiz progress, scores, bookmarks, achievements, and app preferences.
  • Device information — device type, OS version, and similar technical data needed to run the App.
  • Purchase information — subscription status processed through Google Play Billing (we do not store your full payment card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide quizzes, progress tracking, and personalized features
  • Authenticate your account and sync data across devices
  • Deliver AI-assisted hints and analysis
  • Show advertisements (for free users) via Google AdMob
  • Manage premium / “No Ads” subscriptions
  • Improve app stability, performance, and support

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services that may process data under their own policies:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication and cloud database
  • Google Sign-In — optional account login
  • Google AdMob — ads for free users
  • Google Play Billing — in-app subscriptions
  • Google Gemini API — AI hints and analysis features

4. Advertising

If you are not subscribed to a No Ads / premium plan, the App may display ads through Google AdMob. Ad networks may collect or use device identifiers and similar data to provide and measure ads. You can remove ads by purchasing an applicable subscription in the App.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account and progress data are stored using Firebase services. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the App (as listed above), or when required by law.

7. Your Choices

  • Update profile and preferences inside the App
  • Delete your account from Profile / Settings (where available)
  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data

8. Children’s Privacy

ExamPilot AI is intended for students and general exam preparation users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
